During this intense battle, an imaginary conversation takes place between Sojo and Chihiro within the confines of Sojo’s hideout. Sojo offers Chihiro a plate of Hanami-Dango, a traditional Japanese dish, along with tea. However, Chihiro declines, stating his dislike for sweet things. Sojo accuses him of being unkind, claiming that all he feels towards Chihiro is ‘murderous intent.’

Sojo confesses that his mind has been consumed by thoughts of Chihiro. He questions Chihiro about his father, Kunishige Rokuhira. Initially confused, Chihiro remembers mentioning his connection to Kunishige during their first encounter. Sojo explains that while Chihiro’s words helped him understand his own relationship with the Enchanted Blade, Chihiro’s conviction made him feel nauseous.
